Elorm Eku Addae heads GIRSAL’s Agribusiness Unit and is responsible for providing technical oversight for Credit Risk Guarantee Pre-Assessment Applications (PAAs), Technical Advisory Service requests, and agribusiness value chain development programs. She also leads the credit origination team, ensuring the thorough appraisal and quality assurance of Credit Risk Guarantee applications submitted by Partner Financial Institutions.
She is a seasoned agribusiness finance professional with over 18 years of experience supporting the development of the agricultural and agribusiness sector and strengthening access to finance across multiple value chains. Her career has been shaped by a deep commitment to advancing financial inclusion in agriculture through innovative financing mechanisms. Passionate about agribusiness financing, she continues to champion initiatives that promote sector growth, resilience, and sustainability.
Prior to joining GIRSAL, Elorm held several leadership roles overseeing strategy, business development, and product development. She has worked closely with reputable Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) to design and promote innovative agricultural finance solutions. Her expertise spans credit analysis, risk assessment, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building for financial institutions, with a strong emphasis on strengthening agricultural value chains.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Cape Coast, as well as postgraduate certificates in Finance and Humanities from the ProCredit Regional Academy in Veles, Macedonia, and a Certificate in Agribusiness Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
