Parvis Amartey

Chief Finance Officer

Parvis Amartey is the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of GIRSAL, where he provides strategic leadership for the organisation’s finance function. He is responsible for overseeing financial management, reporting, controls, and governance in support of GIRSAL’s mandate and long-term sustainability.

He is a seasoned finance, banking, and accounting professional with over twenty years of experience across banking operations, accounting, auditing, and financial management. His career reflects progressive leadership responsibility within the financial services sector, with a strong foundation in financial governance, operational oversight, and strategic decision-making.

Prior to joining GIRSAL, Parvis served as Group Head of Finance at Mobile Zone Limited. He also worked with UniCredit Ghana Limited, where he rose through the ranks and held several senior positions, including Branch Manager, Head of Domestic Banking Operations, Head of Internal Audit, Group Head of Finance, and Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer. This breadth of experience has equipped him with deep insight into banking operations, financial control systems, and executive leadership.

Parvis holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking and Finance from Zenith University College. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana).
